I'm going to tell you about my latest marketing innovation... 'Moving Pictures.' You won't believe what happened at my open house!

My husband, Bill, and I were in an Uber on our way home from Reagan National Airport. My phone rang. It was Carol.

'Marjorie, I have a friend who needs your help. She's getting ready to put her house on the market with another agent, and I'm afraid she's making a terrible mistake!'

'Carol, of course I'll help. How can I reach her?'

'She's right here with me, I'm handing her my phone.'

So that's how I met Christine! To make a long story short, she hired me and we introduced the world to personalized 'Moving Pictures.'

It was my husband, Bill's, idea. Video our seller, Christine, as she guides us through her home...more like an unscripted home movie than a glamorous advertising production. Allow her to share her family's experience... moments that may 'ring a bell' for the next owner.

You'll never guess what happened at the open house! Instead of rushing through Christine's home, guests stopped to watch the video of the house while they were there. Some forwarded the video to a spouse who wasn't there. 

That was on Saturday afternoon. That night we got an offer so good, $71,000 more than full price, that we sold it and cancelled the Sunday open house!
